I was fortunate to spend the last week in Ixtapa, Mexico by the Pacific Ocean.  We enjoyed hours sitting on the beach watching the waves rolling in and crashing- it was very majestic and relaxing.  The waves were fairly big and we walked out a little ways into the ocean and experienced the power and pull of the waves.

The sound of the waves was actually like a roar or a muffled thunder which  declared their power.  I was surprised that even at night in our hotel room we could hear the waves crashing in.  When we returned home, it seemed so quiet and still without this background sound of the waves.  What an awesome display of  God’s amazing power in His creation.
