Wisdom dwells with prudence…

Prudence is the ability to govern and discipline oneself by the use of reason and when we ask for HIS wisdom instead of relying on our own understanding we get better results.

In the stillness we can ask and listen for the Holy Spirit to guide us and help us avoid pitfalls and difficulties.  It is better to be able to avoid things rather than have to be rescued or deal with things after marginal decisions have been made.  Trust in the Lord and lean not on our own understanding…  Prov 3:5

God designed us to live in dependence on Him.  He can see the end from the beginning and He is all-knowing  and because of this we can gain from seeking His guidance and wisdom in circumstances.

Ask Him for wisdom for our decisions – He gives liberally to all who ask for it!        James 1:5

5 If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father.  He loves to help.  You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it.  6 Ask boldly, believing, without a second thought.  People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves.  7-8 Don’t think you are going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open.                    The Message James 1:5-6

I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge and discretion.           Prov 8:12
